In this post, I’d like to guide how to install Virtualbox on Windows 10. As you may know,VirtualBox is a cross-platform virtualization application which allows us to create virtual machines on our a computer. VirtualBox can run on almost operating systems like Windows, Linux, Mac,..And we can install any guest operating system on it. So, if you have a Windows PC, and want to do some experiments on Linux, you can install Linux on the VirtualBox without having to re-install OS for your PC.
1. Preparation
Firstly, you need to obtain a setup package from VirtualBox website. Currently, I’ve just downloaded the version 5.0.16 for my Windows 10 laptop.
2. Install VirtualBox on Windows 10
After downloading, just double click on the executable file to start the installation.
Click the Next button to go to next step

Network Connection Disconnected Notification
The installation notify that the network connection may be reset during the installation. Click Yes button to go to the next step.

Ready to Install
Click the Install button. During the installing, if VirtualBox asked for administrator right to continue, you should allow it by clicking the Yes button.

Confirm to install driver for Windows 10
Click the Install button to install the driver that will be used for VirtualBox.

Installation is being finished
Click Finish button to finish the installation and start it up.

The graphic user interface of VirtualBox. Now it’s ready for you to install any OS on your PC.
3. Summary
We have just tried to install VirtualBox on Windows 10. It’s pretty easy and similar to install other normal software on Windows. VirtualBox is good for development environment. However, there are other virtualization tools you can consider to use:
